As a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer and current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) student, Ethan is passionate about improving his clients' strength, posture, and overall quality of life. At Inner Heat Yoga, he channels the calming nature of the studio into his strength training sessions, moving from one part of the body to the next in a total-body workout tailored to you and designed to increase both strength and endurance.
After discussing your goals, concerns, injuries, and movement history, Ethan will begin working with you on a strength training program that meets you where you are in your journey. Using dumbbells and other modalities, he will help you find exercises that not only build strength but are also enjoyable—making weekly sessions with him something to look forward to as part of your movement program at Inner Heat.
Strength training is key to maintaining healthy bones, joints, and muscles as we age, yet can be intimidating to begin. Ethan has experience working with individuals of all ages and ability levels, including seniors, neurodivergent individuals, and those with disabilities. He brings a high level of anatomical knowledge to his sessions as he continues working toward his PTA license, teaching not just how to move, but why we move that way.
In addition to his NASM personal training certification, Ethan also holds a Corrective Exercise certification, which focuses on identifying and addressing muscle imbalances that can lead to pain and postural distortions.
Ethan recommends two to three sessions per week alongside your regular movement program for optimal results.
Ethan has been working with individuals of all kinds and abilities since he started his career as a Personal Trainer. Beginning at a comfortable pace and level, Ethan will slowly challenge you to do your best in your workouts leaving you with a sense of accomplishment and fulfillment after each session. Ethan helps his clients build strength, lose weight, improve posture, and overall increase their quality of life. Ethan holds a National Academy of Sports Medicine certification in Personal Training with an additional certification in Corrective Exercise, which focuses on postural distortions that may be the result of muscle imbalances throughout the body.
